ALASKA ALASKA is a research based design & creative service practice rooted in contemporary landscapes, essentially questioning Design while designing Design.

Founded by Virgil Abloh, since 2022 ALASKA ALASKA has been under the creative direction of Tawanda Chiweshe and Francisco Gaspar who have assisted and led multiple A-Alaska projects since the studio’s inception.

With experience spanning multiple disciplines and contexts, the studio has produced work within Automotive, Architecture, Graphic Design, Product and Industrial Design as well as Art. Each project is consistently guided by a clear logic and a strong emphasis on research for both brand collaborations and work for external clients.

Through our departments (Product, Industrial, Graphics, Architecture, Strategy and Curatorial) we approach every external client project with intentionality and purpose, whether it's ideation, full-scale execution, corporate or artistic.
